Our whole vanilla beans are vacuum packed for freshness. These beans are long, slender, and flexible, with an outstanding aroma and high oil content. Fresh vanilla beans will add a wonderful flavor to your desserts and pastries. To use: slit the bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds to add to doughs, batters, and puddings. Use the leftover pods to make vanilla sugar or make your own extract by adding the pods to a high proof neutral alcohol.
