Description
Raw blue agave syrup is made from the pina of the blue agave plant, grown in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The fresh juice is thickened into a sweet syrup by gentle heating and evaporating at temperatures below 116 degrees. Agave syrup has a mild flavor and is sweeter than sugar, making it a popular vegan alternative to honey and a great sweetener for beverages, baked goods, and fresh fruit.
