Good For You Protein Bars
2 tablespoons organic dutch cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of Aunt Patty's Organic Gluten Free Brown Rice Syrup
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup coconut flour (sifted)
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup raw sunflower seeds or any other seeds or nuts of your choice
Warm coconut oil and add cocoa, blend well. Stir in coconut cream, almond butter, vanilla and rice syrup. Mix salt with coconut flour and blend into mixture. Stir in sunflower seeds, cinnamon or ginger powder.
Grease a container with a little coconut oil, place protein bar mixture in the container and cool for 1/2 hour. Lightly make some score marks for your squares. It will be easier to remove after it becomes firm in the pan. When mixture is firm finish cutting into squares, and enjoy.
