

Aunt Patty's Grandma's Fool Proof Pie Crust
(This recipe has an Aunt Patty twist - made naturally)
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups organic unbleached flour
3/4 cup Aunt Patty's Organic Raw Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
1 cube (1/2 cup) organic butter
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon baking powder (Prefer Bob's Red Mill)
1 organic egg
1 tablespoon vinegar (mix well with egg and add enough water to make 1/2 cup)
Directions:
Cut solid coconut oil and butter into flour, salt & baking powder. Add egg, vinegar & water mixture. Mix well and knead. Now you can roll out your pie crust and place in pie plate. Shape crust and prick crust all over with a fork. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes until lightly browned. Your crust is now ready to fill.
Other options: Use 1 1/4 cup Aunt Patty's Extra Virgin Coconut Oil solid and add to dry ingredients. Also add 1 tablespoon coconut sugar. Proceed as directed above.
